Admission Procedure
Admissions to the two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management programmes will be done through Common Entrance Test conducted by SIOM DEC or on the basis of scores obtained by the student in CAT / MAT / CET / XAT / ATMA/ NAT etc. or equivalent management entrance tests conducted by Deemed Universities.

For One year Diploma courses, admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examinations.

For admission to any SIOM-DEC Management Programme, one time admission procedure is followed by the Institute.

Eligible candidate must apply on the prescribed SIOM-DEC Application Form (attached with the Student's handbook and Prospectus).

The cost of the prospectus along with application form is payable by demand draft, drawn in favour of SIOM's-Distance Education Centre, payable at Pune only.

The application form completely filled in along with photograph and attested Xerox copies of the required certificates should be sent to:

Last date for Registration: 05/05/2008 for the batch starting from June 2008, and 26 Dec 2008 for January 2009 batch.

The last date of submission of application forms is 5th May for June batch and 26th December for the January batch.

Continuation of the course from First Semester to the second or from any other semester to the subsequent semester shall be made through submission of Re-Registration form within one month from the last date of examination of previous semester.

The management programme (PGDM or any Diploma Course) once registered for, must be completed within two years of four semesters and one year of two semesters. In case it is not done the candidate will have to seek Re-admission by paying the requisite examination fees as applicable for the respective management programme.

The rule of re-registration is not applicable for candidates who fail in all the subjects of previous semesters and wish to appear for the examination. Requests for change in the programme are not entertained after the application form is submitted to the Institute. Fees are non refundable, once submitted with the application form.

How to Apply :
Download the application form and prospectus from website www.sinhgad.edu and duly filled in application form be forwarded to Director, SIOM-DEC, 47/2, 'B' Govind Chambers, Opp. Maharshi Karve Telephone Exchange, Karve Road, Above Hotel Girija, Nalstop, Pune 411 004 along with a DD Rs 1500/- for Two years PG Programmes & Rs. 1000/- for One Year Diploma Programmes in favour of Sinhgad Institute of Management Distance Education Centre, Payable on any branch of the Nationalized Bank, in Pune for the amount of prospectus fee as specified below.

The prospectus along with prescribed application form is also available by post on the above address on payment of fees Rs 1500/- for Two years PG Programmes & Rs. 1000/- for One Year Diploma Programmes.
