UNDER GRADUATE (UG) PROGRAMMES – 3 YEAR DURATION
1.	B.C.A.(Bachelor of Computer Applications).	Applicants for admission to the BCA Programme must have passed the higher secondary examination or an examination accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto. Those who have passed the three years technical diploma examination are also eligible for admission to the BCA Programme.
2.	B.Sc. (Computer Science)	Applicants for admission to the B.Sc. Computer Science Programme must have passed the higher secondary examination or an examination accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto. Those who have passed the three year technical diploma examination are also eligible for admission to the B.Sc. (Computer Science) Programme.
3.	B.Sc. (Information Technology)	Applicants for admission to the B.Sc Information technology Programme must have passed the higher secondary examination or an examination accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto. Those who have passed the three year technical diploma examination are also eligibile for admission to the B.Sc.(Information Technology) Programme.
4.	B.Sc. (Visual Communication)	Applicants for admission to the B.Sc Visual Communication Programme must have passed the higher secondary examination or an examination accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto. Those who have passed the three year technical diploma examination are also eligibile for admission to the B.Sc. (Visual Communication) Programme.
UNDER GRADUATE (UG) PROGRAMMES (LATERAL ENTRY)
5.	B.C.A.(Bachelor of Computer Applications).	The candidates seeking admission to the II year of the above programme should have successfully completed the I year of study from any recognized University in the same discipline with at least 75% of syllabi common to this University or The candidates who have completed 3 year Diploma after 10th Standard.
6.	B.Sc. (Computer Science)	The candidates seeking admission to the II year of the above programme should have successfully completed the I year of study from any recognized University in the same discipline with at least 75% of syllabi common to this University or The candidates who have completed 3 year Diploma after 10th Standard.
7.	B.Sc. (Information Technology)	The candidates seeking admission to the II year of the above programme should have successfully completed the I year of study from any recognized University in the same discipline with at least 75% of syllabi common to this University or The candidates who have completed 3 year Diploma after 10th Standard.
8.	B.Sc. (Visual Communication)	The candidates seeking admission to the II year of the above programme should have successfully completed the I year of study from any recognized University in the same discipline with at least 75% of syllabi common to this University or The candidates who have completed 3 year Diploma after 10th Standard.
POST GRADUATE (PG) PROGRAMMES -
9.	M.C.A. (6 Semesters)	i) Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the three year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme should have a three year Bachelor's Degree after Plus 2 or three year Diploma of any recognised University. ii) Candidates seeking admission to I year of MCA Programme and who have not studied Mathematics at +2 or at Diploma level should undergo a bridge programme for a week.
10.	M.Sc. (Information Technology)- (4 Semesters)	A pass in any degree or an equivalent examination.
11.	M.Sc. (Software Engineering) -Four Semesters	1. A pass in any degree with Maths at Higher Secondary level or equivalent. 2. Candidates who have not studied Maths at +2 level should undergo a bridge programme for a week.
12.	M.Sc. (Computer Science) -Four Semesters	Any degree in Science or an equivalent Examination.
13.	M.Sc. Bio-Informatics-Four Semesters	Any degree in Science or an equivalent Examination.
POST GRADUATE (PG) PROGRAMMES (LATERAL ENTRY)
14.	M.C.A. (Second Year)	i) Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the three year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme should have a three year Bachelor's Degree after completion of Plus 2 or three year Diploma of any recognised University. ii) Candidates seeking admission to I year of MCA Programme and who have not studied Mathematics at +2 or at Diploma level should undergo a bridge programme for a week.

The candidates who have successfully completed DOEACC 'A' or 'B' or 'C' level programme. The candidate who have successfully completed M.B.A. (Systems) or PGDIT (or) I year M.Sc. (I.T.) (75% of the syllabus equivalent to this University) or any other PG Diploma in Computer studies from any recognized University with a minimum duration of one year.
16.	M.Sc. (Computer Science)	The Candidates seeking admission to II year of the above programme have to satisfy any one of the following conditions: The candidates having a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA-One Year), from a recognized University. 19.	P.G. Dip. in Library Automation & Networking (Code::290)	A Pass in BLIS/B.Sc. Library & Information Science/ MLIS/ MLS/ M.Sc. Library Information Science and Associateship in Documentation and Information Science, On-Campus and Off-Campus students who undergo BLIS/ MLIS programmes of this University.

COMPULSORY PERSONAL CONTACT PROGRAMME CENTRES (PCP)
21.	PERSONAL CONTACT PROGRAMME (PCP)	For B.Sc. (Applied Chemistry), B.Sc. (Electronic Science) and B.Sc. (Psychology -III Year) Personal Contact Programmes Theory & Practical for Non-IT will be conducted only at Annamalainagar.atics
22.	PG DIPLOMA IN LIBRARY AUTOMATION AND NETWORKING	Every candidate is required to fulfil a total of 75 hrs. of compulsory Lab-cum-Counselling Programme at any one of the Computer Training Centres of the situated all over the country .
23.	M.Sc. (Bio-Informatics)	Compulsory Personal Contact Programme of Three Weeks durations per semester in total comprising of both Theory & Practical. A candidate will be permitted to appear for the examinations only if he/she has attended 80% of the theory & practical classes during that semester. PCP will be conducted only at Annamalainagar.
24.	Response Sheet	Response sheet will be sent to the students separately. students are advised to submit them within the prescribed date. Submission of Response sheet is compulsory

Note:

i) Students tuition should remit the fees within the due dates noted against each and no separate communication will be sent individually. They are informed that their names will be removed from the rolls if the fees are not paid within the due dates.

ii) Students are informed that their Examination Application Forms will be registered only if they have remitted the tuition fees in full within the prescribed time.

iii) The lessons for 2nd and 3rd year will be sent to the students only after receipt of 1st instalment of Tuition Fee for the 2nd and 3rd year within the dates mentioned above.

iv) Those who have discontinued the programme but want to continue the same programme later must pay the tuition fees at the existing fee prescribed along with the re-admission fee of Rs. 200/- and late fee of Rs. 100/- per instalment of fees in the form of Demand Draft.

v) No cash transaction is permitted.

vi) The University is not responsible for any cash payment or any other payments made other than those in the name of Annamalai University.
