The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) of IMT-Centre for Distance Learning of Doctoral Level aims at imparting training to professionals (self-employed or working in corporates) and teachers in the various disciplines of management science, in the skills and competences related to the systematic investigation of various issues and problems in the area of their study. At this level, the study is expected to provide new and original insights into the problem or the area under investigation. The Fellow Programme in Management of IMT - Centre for Distance Learning can be pursued by those who possess an M.Phil. degree or MBA/ PGDBM equivalent to MBA Degree or CA, ICWA, CS or M.Tech with five years of teaching/industry/ administrative/professional experience at senior level.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Executive)

The programme is of 12 months duration. It provides young managers with an opportunity to further develop their management skills so as to stand out in the global business arena. The programme aims at transforming functional managers and executives into more versatile managerial talents in tune with current theory and practices in the field.

Graduate with 5 years experience. Admission test is required. Exemptions from Admission test as per the policy given in the Prospectus.

4. Two Year Advanced
Post-Graduate Diploma in Management

The Programme is of two years comprising four modules. It is intended to provide young graduates an opportunity for developing management skills to compete successfully in the global business environment. The curriculum has been designed to lay foundations for logical and analytical skills of the students. The curriculum covers all the important areas in the discipline of management which may be expected from a working manager. The normal period of completing the entire course in the management discipline has been cut short from three years to two years without compromising with the essential areas of management. The Programme is, thus, intended to provide the student a compact view of the business environment in a shorter period of time. The Programme has been designed to provide specialization in the area of choice and the Advanced Diploma would carry the name of specialization.
